Dianne Charman CFP ® Principal Adviser Managing Director Financial Planning SpecialistDianne Charman believes in empowerment through knowledge. Building confidence in your financial world.  With over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Planning profession, and over 10 years as a practicing Certified Financial Planner, Dianne’s specialist qualifications include Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and Direct shares.  She has also held senior roles in funds management, insurance, superannuation; and now is the Director of Jade Financial Group.  A family orientated business, working hard to provide Clients with, honest, long term financial advice in order to turn their goals into reality.

In 2010 Dianne founded the Jade Kids Foundation – a not for profit organisation helping our next generation to make better money choices for a secure financial future.

Dianne is a proud member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and in 2012 and 2013 was a Finalist in the AFA Female Excellence in Advice Award. Now Dianne sits on the board as the AFA’s Queensland Director, helping to provide its members with a voice and to continually improve practices.  Particularly, Dianne is committed to improving Financial Literacy and leads the AFA Financial Literacy Working Group on important issues for women and our elderly.

Dianne is an active member of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce, and in 2014 Jade FG was awarded the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award. She has previously been a finalist in the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year.  More recently Dianne and Jade FG have qualified as “Most Trusted Adviser” status from the Beddoes Institute, voted by our clients.

Visitors to Jade FG’s office often comment on the friendly and relaxed atmosphere when they walk in. Jade FG want Clients to feel engaged, and secure in the knowledge that they will be looked after, as well as their finances.

Keeping up to date with economic information, investment performance, legislation and the latest strategies are of the highest importance to Jade FG as your professional Advisers.  Advisers regularly attend seminars in Brisbane through AMP as well as the Portfolio Construction Forum Academy in Sydney to continue to further build knowledge. Clients of  Jade FG are kept informed with regular communication such as emails, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, media notices and most importantly one-on-one meetings with Advisers.  Either face to face, over the phone, or video conferencing.  Dianne and Jade FG encourage Clients to call, or pop in to the office any time if they have a quick question or concern.  Jade FG are here to help.

Qualifications

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER – since 2000.
  • Diploma of Financial Planning in 1998, Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning in 2010; and currently studying a Masters in Financial Planning.

  • Member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since 1995; the Self-Managed Super Fund Professionals Association of Australia (SPAA) since 2010; and the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) since 2004 and currently Queensland Director.
